Meitao Qu & Amy J Wilson on creating worlds in Unreal Engine

Collusion’s ART // TECH // PLAY video series shares insights from artists about their work with creative technologies, aiming to spark curiosity and act as an introduction for others who would like to incorporate similar techniques into their work and practice.

Meitao Qu lives and works between London and Beijing. From costume to architecture, she is interested in how forms of visualisation operate as ‘props’ to stimulate imaginations.

Amy J Wilson is a visual artist working across printmaking, ceramics, and digital media. Her current research focuses on ideas around non-human agency, be that object, animal, or environmental.

Together, they work to create virtual spaces in Unreal Engine to explore modernity’s blurring of the natural and artificial. See more of Meitao and Amy’s work at meitao-qu.com and amyjwilson.co.uk
