Lost Communications // Norfolk & Norwich Festival - Collusion

Lost Communications // Norfolk & Norwich Festival15 May to 16 May 2025

Collusion, Norwich University of the Arts, and Norfolk & Norwich Festival present Lost Communications 失絡之聲, an immersive exploration of the light and darkness of nature.

Composer An-Ting collected field recordings of birdsong and mixed them with dark experimental electronic music with droning soundscapes and hard beats. To form a live performance, An-Ting is joined by Ian Gallagher, who uses cutting-edge AI technology to document the duo’s ideas and mind-bending experiences with live audio-reactive visuals adapted for the 360º screen at Norwich University of the Arts’ Immersive Visualisation and Simulation Lab, reacting in real-time to a special spatial mix of An-Ting’s music.

There will be two performances of Lost Communications at the Lab, running from 6:30-8:00pm on 15 and 16 May 2025. Preceding the performances will be an exhibition of two video works: Jinn-Ginnaye, a screen dance video by Kirk Woolford, and Sea States, a multi-screen installation by Louis Nixon.

Tickets are £10/£9 concessions and can be purchased through the Norfolk & Norwich Festival website via the Book Now button.
