This edition of ART // TECH // PLAY LIVE takes us to a brand new location: Norwich University of the Arts’ incredible new research facility, the Immersive Visualisation and Simulation Lab!
We will be given a tour of the facility by Dr. Kirk Woolford (founding director of Norwich University of the Arts’ Institute for Creative Technologies) to learn more about the amazing features of this space, including a 10m x 4m 360 degree LED video screen, immersive audio, a 4D volumetric capture system, and programmable AI integration.
We’ll also be treated to short talks by artists and creatives using the space to develop new work, and showings of video artworks on the 360 screen – a viewing experience probably unlike any you’ve had before!
Join us as we learn how spaces like this could shape the future of tech arts, and meet likeminded creatives working in and around Norwich.
